It's hard to stay focused, hard to find topics and sentiments to match with music. For me songs come improvised with wordless melodies; but i cant use them without lyrics, so they sit and wait. It's too easy to be flippant, or obtuse, or just out of sync with the emerging song's theme and tone. These songs are the result of my struggles to find a balance between mood, meaning, and production.
